Display Energy Assessments
Under the Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations, occupiers of publically owned buildings must have the annual fuel records
assessed to evaluate how the operation of their building compares to typical UK benchmarks. A Display Energy Certificate is required
every year and must be displayed visually to the public. Alongside the Display Energy Certificate is an Advisory Report which is valid
for 7 years and lists recommendations in short, medium and long term payback allowing for the implementation of energy efficient
measures based on generic budgets and typical return on investments.
Ensurv has been delivering Display Energy Certificates and independent energy efficiency advice to the public sector since 2008 and
has project managed a number of energy efficient measures such as voltage optimisation, energy efficient lighting upgrades, boiler
upgrades, double glazing and insulation improvements. Ensurv also helps arrange for SMART metering of individual buildings and
departments to give more accurate energy use within the building and to allow the client to monitor energy performance and assess
areas for improvement.
Fees depend on the number of certificates required and whether a site visit is required. Please contact Ensurv for a free, no-obligation
quotation for this service.
