Domestic Energy Performance Certificates
All domestic buildings require and Energy Performance Certificate for either sale, rent or ‘on-construction’. The purpose of the EPC is
to advise prospective buyers and tenants of the running costs of the property with respect to fuel consumption and give
recommendations on how running costs can be reduced through energy efficient improvements. This ensures owners/occupiers
understand the costs associated in comfortably heating the home without the occupier falling vulnerable to the growing issue of ‘fuel
poverty’ whereby 10% or more of monthly income is spent on domestic fuel.
Standard EPC assessments start from just £50 and include a site survey inspection. This should only take approximately 1 hour and
Ensurv’s flexibility means you are not required to take time off work. Weekend appointments are also available at no additional cost.
In addition to the EPC there is the option of a floor plan for your property for only a small additional fee. The floor plan allows
prospective buyers to obtain an accurate overview of the property layout and fixtures while highlighting the positive aspects of the
property visually.
Ensurv also produces floor plans for a range of holiday cottage lettings giving a great amount of detail on the furniture available for
guest’s comfort.
