About Ensurv

Ensurv is an independent business specialising in the production of Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) for clients such as Solicitors, Estate Agents and individual Home Owners. Since the EPC is a mandatory document for inclusion into the Home Information Pack, Ensurv offers its services at very competitive rates to keep costs of property transfer as low as possible.

Ensurv operates from office locations in Oswestry and Whitchurch, and can provide services to the whole of the North Shropshire District. It is also prepared to extend its services to the district of North Wales and South Cheshire. Ensurv will undertake services promptly to ensure the EPC survey and report is completed promptly and for a reasonable cost. This means that the production of your Home Information Pack and subsequent property transfer can proceed without unnecessary delay.

Our Principal, Shane Paul, is also a qualified Environmental Engineer with knowledge and experience in Waste Management, Land Quality and Climate Change issues. Shane is undertaking further post graduate courses so Ensurv is well placed to provide a wider range of services such as Sustainable Architecture within the next 2 years.

Quality Assurance

When engaging a qualified assessor to undertake a survey of the building and energy assessment production of a report, it is important that you get good value for money, as fees for this service vary quite markedly across the industry.

As the purchase of property can be influenced by the energy rating along with estimated annualised costs of energy consumption, Ensurv takes pride in its attention to detail when producing your Energy Performance Certificate. We also consider our fee structure for the services we provide very reasonable and that we are well placed to expand our energy assessment within the North Shropshire area.

Ensurv is accredited by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) which is a long established and leading organisation in research and environmental sustainability of buildings.

BRE has provided Ensurv with the necessary Professional Indemnity (PI) and Public Liability (PL) insurance required for undertaking all home survey assessments and reporting. Importantly, the BRE accreditation scheme requires it to regularly audit assessments undertaken by all its accredited Assessors.

The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) if undertaken correctly, provides valuable information for property owners or occupiers when purchasing a property. Purchasing of a residence is a major financial undertaking for most of us and it is important that determination of an affordable purchase price is soundly based to avoid financial hardship later.
