Quality Assurance

When engaging a qualified assessor to undertake a survey of the building and energy assessment production of a report, it is important that you get good value for money, as fees for this service vary quite markedly across the industry.

As the purchase of property can be influenced by the energy rating along with estimated annualised costs of energy consumption, Ensurv takes pride in its attention to detail when producing your Energy Performance Certificate. We also consider our fee structure for the services we provide very reasonable and that we are well placed to expand our energy assessment within the North Shropshire area.

Ensurv is accredited by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) which is a long established and leading organisation in research and environmental sustainability of buildings.

BRE has provided Ensurv with the necessary Professional Indemnity (PI) and Public Liability (PL) insurance required for undertaking all home survey assessments and reporting. Importantly, the BRE accreditation scheme requires it to regularly audit assessments undertaken by all its accredited Assessors.

The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) if undertaken correctly, provides valuable information for property owners or occupiers when purchasing a property. Purchasing of a residence is a major financial undertaking for most of us and it is important that determination of an affordable purchase price is soundly based to avoid financial hardship later.
